The Academic Leadership Summit provides a forum for academic hospital medicine leaders to learn, exchange ideas, network, and innovate solutions to continuing challenges. Designed for all leaders—aspiring, new, and experienced—the Summit will examine persistent and growing gaps in several domains of academic hospital medicine: early and late-career hospitalists, academic and clinical hospitalists, university and community-based settings, and main campus and affiliate hospitals. Established and up-and-coming leaders from a diverse set of geographies and backgrounds will present their thoughts on the academic gap in keynote talks and panel discussions.
