2022 How Hospital Medicine Got its Groove Back: Emerging Stronger and Healthier From a Pandemic

April 7, 2022

Hospitalists have been even more essential to health systems over the past two years. In an environment of rapid change, unpredictability, and reassessment of priorities, how can hospital medicine group leaders reinforce best practices, incorporate helpful disruptive innovations, and leverage relationships with hospital leaders to facilitate recovery?

In this course we will look at how the pandemic has influenced hospitalist practice; what innovations we want to take forward and what core aspects of practice management will remain essential. Designed for practice leaders, the agenda includes ample time for interaction with the faculty and fellow attendees, and each session will conclude with participants developing a brief action plan to implement upon returning to their hospital medicine groups.

Course faculty represent a variety of different practice settings and have decades of experience in clinical practice and leadership. They will be facilitating discussions around today’s most crucial topics in practice management.
