Academic Hospitalist Leadership Summit 2021

prior to the live course on May 3, 2021.
Join fellow academic hospitalists in a unique course to learn, network, and exchange ideas with colleagues from around the globe. This event will feature presentations from leaders in the field and will incorporate panel discussions around the theme of advancing academics into a post-COVID world. Speakers and panelists will provide expert information, followed by questions and answers with attendees.
Learning Objectives
1. After this session, participants will be able to apply leadership lessons and principles from the COVID pandemic and crisis to leadership.
2. After this session, participants will understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion to academic hospital medicine, and be able to integrate principles for improving these initiatives at their home institutions.
3. After this session, participants will be able to explain why academic advancement is important for academic hospital medicine, and how to advocate for COVID scholarship for their teams.
