Building and Sustaining Your Network: A Key Tool for Leaders

March 11, 2021

Hospitalists will learn how to network in these virtual times to grow on the leadership skills.  This is a new skill that all members of the hospital medicine team need to know how to do as we have no window into how long we will be living in this virtual world due to the pandemic.

Through hands-on exercises and interactive discussions, participants will examine their current networks and explore how to develop and enhance relationships in order to meet their professional goals.  Participants will assess strategies to enhance the diversity of their network, to create sponsorship relationships and to network virtually.  Participants will leave the session with an action plan to operationalize strategies presented in the session and a tool that they can use iteratively throughout their career.
