Overview:

Hospitalists are often chosen to participate in, or lead, quality improvement initiatives.  As expertise grows, many find themselves in the position of developing others in the methods and practice of quality improvement.  One means of optimizing both team performance and individuals’ development is to ensure that those engaged in quality improvement have a coach.
