HM19 Hill Day Advocate Training
Participants will learn about how to have a successful Hill meeting with their legislators. They will also be trained about the two issues relevant to the meetings– observation care reform and barriers for high-skilled visas.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be better able to:
- Apply meeting skills to ensure a smooth and clearly communicated Congressional meeting.
- Describe relevant policy issues for hospitalists in 2019 Congressional meetings.
- Understand the value of policy advocacy and how they can continue to be involved.
