HM19 Hill Day Advocate Training

Participants will learn about how to have a successful Hill meeting with their legislators. They will also be trained about the two issues relevant to the meetings– observation care reform and barriers for high-skilled visas.

 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be better able to:

  1. Apply meeting skills to ensure a smooth and clearly communicated Congressional meeting.
  2. Describe relevant policy issues for hospitalists in 2019 Congressional meetings.
  3. Understand the value of policy advocacy and how they can continue to be involved.
