Leadership Academy: Leadership Capstone 2019
The Leadership Capstone is SHM's fourth Leadership Academy Course. It is a two-day program on site in Nashville that also includes an ongoing six-month learning component which allows participants to continue developing leadership skills throughout the coming year. Participants are eligible to earn a Certificate of Leadership in Hospital Medicine (CLHM) Designation.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the two-day course, learners will be able to
- Appraise their own leadership ability and develop a professional development plan to enhance strengths and minimize blind spots.
- Plan and operationalize a transformative project, and audit gaps in active plans and projects at their institution.
- Assemble and lead more effective teams.
