ForwardSHM NP/PA SIG Webinar Series
With this well documented influx of NP/PA providers, the SHM NP/PA SIG would like to offer a monthly webinar series on topics specific to NP/PA practice including onboarding, credentialing, building an NP/PA workforce, and professional development opportunities.
Target Audience:
Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Practice Administrators
Series Learning Objectives:
- Address identified issues that impact the profession, partnering with leaders in the field that have had success within their home institution or across their careers.
- Provide opportunities for hospital medicine sections to mimic innovative approaches to NP/PA integration and operationalization at their home institutions; provide an opportunity for NP/PAs to discuss topics impacting their practice on a national and local level; and utilize a platform to educate SHM membership on best practices for modernized use of NP/PAs.
- Participants will be knowledgeable of latest advances in NP/PA profession that they can readily replicate at their home institution.
Conflict Of Interest Disclosure Policy
In accordance with the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support, SHM requires that individuals in a position to control the content of an educational activity disclose all relevant financial relationships with any commercial interest. SHM mitigates all conflicts of interest to ensure independence, objectivity, balance, and scientific rigor in all its educational programs. All relevant financial relationships shall be disclosed to participants prior to the start of the activity.
Furthermore, SHM seeks to verify that all scientific research referred to, reported, or used in a continuing medical education (CME) activity conforms to the generally accepted standards of experimental design, data collection, and analysis. SHM is committed to providing its learners with high-quality CME activities that promote improvements in healthcare and not those of a commercial interest.
